Surah An- Nisa

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
 I seek Allah’s protection/refuge/shelter from Shaitaan, the Accursed one.

 بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Meaning:

An-Nisa means "the women", since the first thirty five verses of it are about women and family affairs. 

Introduction : 

• This is the fourth surah of Quran.
• This is "Madni" surah of Quran.
• Surah An- Nisa revealed to the Prophet -peace be upon him- between the years 3 and 5 of Hijrah.
• Next to Surah Al-Baqarah, it is the longest Surah of the Qur'an from the point of the number of words and letters.
• This surah contains 177 ayaat(verses)
