Holy Quran is a great blessing of Allah for Muslims. Quran is a noble gift for all mankind indeed. Quran is in fact, a code of life for humanity. One can travel in the right direction and opt a right path to fulfill achievements of life and hereafter. Allah says in surah Al-Baqrah [2:2] " This book is no doubt(is) guidance for the pious.

When we open the Quran, the first surah" Al Fatiha" starts with the phrase "Alhumdulillah" which means "all praise is for Allah".
Muslims should be  thankful to Allah for Quran.Quran is a powerful source of guidance for all Muslims. In Quran Allah said:
There is countless reward and benefits of recitation or reading Quran. Muslims should take high advantage through this great source of knowledge and learn how to be successful in this world as well as in hereafter (Akhirah, The day of judgement) as the first command and word of Quran is ' IQRA' , means 'Read!"

Reward & Benefits :
"Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” So increase your recitation of the Qur’an to gain these merits, and to gain the following merit as well. ( "Tirimdhi")

In another hadeeth, the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said:Verily the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE that reward.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
The above hadith proves that people who are not well versed in the Arabic languge or have other difficulties in reciting the Quran, get even a higher reward for reciting the Quran in Arabic for their extra effort.
Significance:
Each surah of Quran has its own benefits and "Fazeelat"( significance).
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
There is a soorah of the Quran containing thirty verses which have interceded for a man until he was forgiven. It is the soorah Tabaarak alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2891; Ahmad, 7634; Abu Dawood, 1400; Ibn Maajah, 3786. This hadeeth was classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi and by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 3/6.

Reading the Qur’an Puts You at Peace and Tranquility. It also incsreases our "Imaan". Reading Quran daily, provides us shield from evil. It leads to understand life and its goals better. It guides 'right' and 'wrong'.
The prophet (SAW)said, “Recite the Qur’an for it will come as an intercessor for its people on the day of judgement” [Reported in Muslim]
It brings us close to Allah and above all, it leads to 'Junnah'( paradise), in sha Allah!
