Being Muslim is a great blessing of Allah SWT. Allah has gifted us "Quran" as Quran is the perfect 'code of life' for all mankind, not only Muslims follow Quran guidance but whole mankind can take full advantage till life. Hadith  or Sunnah is the complete reflection of Quran and is the "practical" way to demonstrate the Quranic instructions and directions of earning the righteous life for the benefits of human beings.
"Truly, the Religion in the sight of Allah is Islam." [3:19].

"Trials" and tribulations are also a part of human life. A man suffered a lots of different trials and has faced many ups and downs in his life. Those experiences are considered as a 'learning process' in an individual's life. These are not punishments; These are in fact "warnings" or "tests" of humans/ Muslims/ "Momins".
It is He who created death and life to test which of you are best in deed, for He is the Almighty, the Forgiving. (Surah Al-Mulk 67:2)
Yes! These trials actually come to testify an individual's "faith". Even Prophets are also go through various kind of trials in their lives. Such as Prophet Ayub (AS) suffered a lot due to his disease as we all know about his "Dua'(Prayer) , he recited during his agony and pain with patience and faith :
"رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
"O my Rubb, Surely, distress has touched me, and You are the most Merciful of the merciful ones." [surah Al-Anbiya; 21:83]
When a Muslim endure trials and difficulties with patience and strong faith, it brings inner strength  that will help defeat the disease.
Today all mankind is suffering from "Corona" virus and is facing an unseen battle. People of all ages, either belonging to some developed country or under developed country, rich or poor go through the same situation, feelings and pain. Whole mankind is surrounded by an invisible fear and threat.
When there is an outbreak of a disease, Islam commands Muslims to practice quarantine. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said :
If you get wind of the outbreak of plague in a land, do not enter it; and if it breaks out in a land in which you are, do not leave it.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
When a Muslim is afflicted with a certain disease, he has to look at it as a test from Allah the Almighty. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said :
“How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him.” (Muslim)
As we all know that 'virus' is such a tiny living creature that can't be seen through a naked eye but it has a very strong tendency to destroy a human life and due to its contagious nature, it effects a huge number of individuals and sometimes nations. As Allah says in Quran :
"Surely Allah is not ashamed to set forth any parable-- (that of) a gnat or any thing above that; then as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, and as for those who disbelieve, they say: What is it that Allah means by this parable: He causes many to err by it and many He leads aright by it! but He does not cause to err by it (any) except the transgressors."
Islam is the religion that is fully close and beneficial to human nature. Allah says in Quran:
  أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا
"Will they not, then, ponder over this Qur'an? - or are there locks upon their hearts?"
Islamic lifestyle is full of blessings in this regard. As far as we follow the Islamic teachings, Quran and Sunnah, we become in ease and peace; As far as we ignore the Islamic ways of life, we suffer and face a lot of difficulties and discomfort in our lives. Obey Allah's laws and follow Sunnah, its all about our own benefits and advantages. As Islam is the religion of Nature. Islam is the truly religion of  peace, love, respect and care.
Whenever there is any kind of difficulty arises, a faithful Muslim immediately turned to Allah through prayers, "Salat" and patience, as Allah says in Quran :
 يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
"O you who believe! Seek help through patience and the prayer. Indeed, Allah (is) with the patient ones". (Surah Baqarah 2:157)
"Care" is better enough! After seeking help from Allah, one should take careful measures to cure or prevent from the disease. Here, we are gonna share you some precautions and care related to Corona virus :

  • Islam emphasizes the importance of cleanliness. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Purification is half of faith.” (Muslim)
Islam made ablution a pre-requisite for the validity of prayer. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said :
“If there were a river at the door of one of you in which he takes a bath five times a day, would any soiling remain on him?” They replied, “No soiling would left on him.” The Prophet (SAW) said, “That is the five obligatory prayer. Allah obliterates all sins as a result of performing them.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
  •  Purification includes washing the mouth also. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said :
“Had I not thought it difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the Miswak (tooth-stick) before every prayer.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
  • Follow the eating and drinking habits according to Islamic directions. As Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah (Ayah : 168-169) :
"O' mankind! eat of what is in the earth lawful and good; and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Surely he is a manifest foe for you."
"Verily, he (Satan) enjoins you evil acts and indecency and that you should speak against Allah what you know not."
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) commands Muslims to cover their food and drinks. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said :
“Cover up the (kitchen) containers (i.e., pots, pans, etc.), tie up the mouth of the water-skin, lock up the doors and extinguish the lamps, because Satan can neither untie the water-skin nor open the door nor uncover the containers. If one can cover the cooking pot even by placing a piece of wood across it, and pronounce the Name of Allah on it, let him do it. A mouse can sometimes cause a house to burn along its dwellers.” (Muslim)
  • Eat Nigella seeds daily. Drink with water or sprinkle on  food. It is a cure for every disease because it strengthens the immunity system which is responsible for curing diseases and combating viruses.

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard Allah's Apostle saying: "There is healing in Nigella seeds for all diseases except death." (Sahih Bukhari 7:71:592)
  • Daily recite morning and evening "Duas" (for protection).

  • Pray "Salat  Hajat" to prevent and avoid this Corona virus and other diseases or sufferings of life.
  • Pray "Chash" Namaz ( Afternoon Prayer/ Duha ( sunrise) Prayer) daily. Its time is generally 10 to 11.30( when sun reaches on the peak after sunrise and before zohar, keep zawal time in mind also). Minimum 2 rekat and max 12 rekat. One who perform chasht namaz regularly his all sin will be forgiven by Allah.
  • It fulfills charity on every joint in your body. The Prophet ﷺ said: “In the morning, every single joint of yours must pay a sadaqah (charity). Every SubhanAllah is a sadaqah, every Alhamdulillāh is a sadaqah, every La Ilaha Illa Allah is a sadaqah, every Allahu Akbar is a sadaqah, every commanding good is a sadaqah, and every forbidding evil is a sadaqah, and all this is accomplished through two rakʿahs one can pray in Duha [prayer].”
This hadith emphasizes the status and virtue of Duha prayer, two rakʿahs of which is sufficient as a charity on behalf of every joint in the body, and a sign of genuine gratitude to Allah (swt).( by Ibn Maaja and Tirmizi) .
  • Recite "Azaan" daily in your house.
  • Be thankful to Allah that Allah has granted you health and peace.
“Then remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me, and do not reject Me.”(Surah al-Baqarah 2:152)
  • Reciet full "Tasmiyah" ( Bismillah) before taking and giving any thing to an individual, or put anything at its place.
  • Keep following "Sunnah" and "Hadith" in case of trivial matters these days.
  • Read these Surah of the Quran on the sick person: Surah Al-Fatihah (also known as Surah-e-Shifa), Surah Al-Falaq, Surah An-Nas, Ayat al-Kursi, the last two verses from Surah al-Baqarah, and Al-Anbiya. Surah Al-Rehman is also very beneficial.
  • Reciting of "Ayaat-e-Shifa" is also  very helpful.
  • Reciting Quran will bring you inner peace and enlightenment.
  • All praises be to Allah who tells us:
مَّا يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنتُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيم
"What would Allah do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allah Appreciative and Knowing." [4:147]
Remember ! Where there is HOPE there is LIFE. Never disappoint. Never give up prayers. Allah is very kind to His creature. Allah loves seventy times more than a mother. As Allah says in Quran:
"Tell them, (O Prophet): “My servants who have committed excesses against themselves, do not despair of Allah's Mercy. Surely Allah forgives all sins."

Sharing is a blessing ! Ramadan is a great opportunity to share. The Holy month of Ramadan Kareem is full of blessings and mercy that showers upon Muslims from Allah Almighty.
When a Muslim hears about the arrival of Ramadan, the first thing a Muslim needs to do is to achieve the purpose of Ramadan, that is the blessings of this Holy month.
In Quran, Allah has mentioned that the purpose of fasting is to make a person more pious ("Muttaqi")
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "He is not a believer who eats his full meal while his neighbor remains hungry by his side." (Baihaqi)
"By Allah, he has no faith (the Prophet (SAW), (repeated it three times) whose neighbors are not safe from his wickedness." (Bukhari)
Islam is a religion of mankind. Islam teaches us about the values of spirituality, generosity and kindness with others, especially our neighbors.
Here are some ideas on how you can share the joy with your neighbors this Ramadan.

  • Begin with Dua. Seek help first from Allah is the key success to each and every task.
  • Make Dua that Allah give you and your family the sincerity, strength, motivation and wisdom to do this.

  • Though "Dawa"(Islamic Teachings) is a hard work, and it needs preparation, commitment and organization but its reward is endless, not only in this world but also in the hereafter.

  • Put up a Ramadan banner on your door. This can be something handmade or something more formal.
  • If you are residing in a non-Muslim region than print out a fact sheet on Ramadan and stick that on the door to educate readers passing by about the blessed month and what it means to Muslims.
  • Send neighbors Iftar snacks. Write a wish-note with the food that the Holy month of blessed Ramadan is here and you are sharing your joy with them.
  • You can offer snacks that are not just "Muslims" but also "non-Muslims". You can include index cards with the snacks listing all of the ingredients. This will help neighbors avoid food that causes allergies.

  • Give kids Ramadan Mubarak balloons and sweets so that your neighbors' kids also feel the happiness of Ramadan by including chocolate and candy among your snacks. Balloons also add a nice touch, and if you can get some printed which have "Ramadan Mubarak" written on them, they may remember the blessed month even after it has passed.

  • Publish Ramadan information in your neighborhood newsletter.
  • Have a neighborhood Iftar gathering.
  • Plan some charity tasks with the help of Muslim neighbors or for the relief of Muslim or non-Muslim needy persons (you can also involve non-Muslim neighbors or class fellows or colleague, if the happily contribute with you).

Our Lord! Accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, you are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. (Al-Baqarah:127 - 128)

Ramadan fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from food and water till "Maghrib" for 30 days. There are so much spiritual, mental and physical benefits of this religious "Ibadah". Fasting not only purifies your soul, it also makes your personal growth positive and balanced. In other words, it is a process of your inner-self grooming that leads you to a disciplined life style.
We can stay energized and healthy during Ramadan  while fasting. By eating healthy food during "Suhoor" and "Iftaar"  tends to a nourished and motivational life style in Ramadan. No doubt, there are amazing health benefits associated with fasting in Ramadan if done properly.
As far as the  physiological effects are concerned, Ramadan fasting includes lowering of blood sugar, lowering of cholesterol and lowering of the systolic blood pressure. In fact, Ramadan fasting would be an ideal recommendation for treatment of mild to moderate, stable, non-insulin diabetes, obesity and essential hypertension.
Here are some beneficial tips and ideas regarding food during Blessed Ramadan :

  • Have well-balanced meals.
  • Drink plenty of fluids especially water.
  • Cut down on processed foods.
  • Break your fast with dates and water.
  • Hydrate before eating at the time of Iftaar.
  • Have a bowl of soup.
  • Eat various healthy salads.
  • Eat greens.
  • Select the right carbs.
  • Choose lean protein.
  • Avoid foods high in fat.
  • Avoid foods high in salt.
  • Avoid foods high in sugar.
  • Avoid spices and chillies also.

Modesty is a quality that is loved by Allah. The hijab of the Muslim woman is indeed a  symbol of modesty. Modesty accompanies Eemaan (faith); this is why the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Modesty is part of Eemaan and Eemaan is in Paradise.” [At-Tirmithi] Also: “Modesty and Eemaan are (intimate) companions: when one departs, so does the other.”
In reality, Muslim women wear the hijab to seek the pleasure of God and to uphold Islam’s code of modesty. Hijab keeps a woman safe, not only in her own society but wherever she goes. It is a great blessing of Allah for Muslim women. Covering the beauty for a woman is for her honor and protection.

Importance of Hijab and virtues of Hijab can be judged by Quranic verses. Hijab or the covering of Muslim Women is mentioned in Quran clearly.
"O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." [al-Ahzab: 59]
Islam protects and safeguards the individuals and the society from awkward situations. The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H) said:
"Verily for every religion there is a characteristic, and the characteristic of Islam is Haya`a (modesty, shyness, bashfulness)" [Ibn Majah]

Muslims believe that their true purpose in life is to worship God according to His instructions, as revealed in the holy book of Quran and follow the teachings of Muhammad (PBUH), the last prophet of Islam. Modest clothing is an integral aspect of worship in Islam as well.

In  Quran, Allah says, “And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms” (24:31)
In a similar spirit of obedience, Muslim women have maintained modest covering (hijab) ever since. Hence, the primary motivation for wearing the hijab is to obey God (Allah in Arabic).
Hijab is in fact, a "dress code" of a modest and pious woman in Islam. It is for the dignity of a Muslim woman. It is not a personal or individual decision; it is actually Allah's order for the betterment and respect for "Muslimahs". Hence, Hijab clearly identifies women as followers of Islam and Muslim women have become ambassadors of the Islamic faith.
Hijab is a way to show Muslim women that in the world of Men they are respected. Hijab makes a woman secure from social evils such as lust and shows that they are equally respected in society.
Women have been given the utmost respect and highest statuses in Islam. Hijab is not just a dress code, it signifies something deeper. For Example, it is a barrier between a man and a Muslim woman. This signifies that a Muslim lady cannot be dealt with casually by any random person from the opposite gender and cannot even get involved in the indecent dialog. In essence, Hijab provides you inner peace and harmony.

Islam is the religion that gives a lot of respect to the women than any other religion. Hijab is the purity and the heart may become more pure with it as the sight is blocked and there will be prevention of evil thought or actions. In this regard, the ethical barrier, is to do the right things and to maintain the modesty.
Alhumdullilah ! I am so happy and fully satisfied with my Hijab. My Hijab is my identity; my Muslim identity ! and I am grateful to my Allah for being a Muslim.
Don't live according to your desires, LIVE according to what ALLAH says.

O Controller of hearts, make my heart steadfast in Your religion.

“O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment). Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship but You.” (Abu Dawud 4/324, Ahmad 5/42. Al-Albani graded it as good in Sahih Abu Dawud 3/959.)

“There is no god except Allaah, the All-Mighty, the Forbearing; there is no god except Allaah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne; there is no god except Allaah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble Throne.” (Al-Bukhari 8/154, Muslim 4/2092, )

Allaah, Allaah, my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him (Abu Dawud 2/87. See also Al-Albani, Sahih Ibn Majah 2/335.)
